But it is just a matter of balance, discipline and proper dosage to minimize the risk danger.

One disadvantage of taking vitamin supplement is the price. Of course, it is more expensive than the natural foods that we eat. Plus, those foods are basic needs and whether they have nutrients or none, we still need to eat them. The risk of overdosing is also considered to be a disadvantage of taking these supplements. You may be asking if natural foods are also having risk of this scenario. Well, to tell you, there is no such this as “over dosage” in the foods that we eat, rather it is just an “over eating”. Back to the disadvantage on the vitamin supplement, over dosage is rampant especially if one does not understand the correct amount or volume to be taken.  Some doctors may also recommend a large dosage but they are laying the side effects that may occur as one is engaged on a certain kind of supplement. Some common side effects are the weakening of the muscle, nausea, vomiting, headaches and even weight loss. It depends on the vitamin that you are taking

Natural source of vitamin is basically not enough to “fill in” the needs of our body. Supplement helps us to avoid some common diseases that lead to complications in our body.  Vitamin supplement is an add-on especially to those persons who are not observing balance diet and also a vitamin for women. Doctor’s recommendation of the proper volume is also important to avoid over dosage.
